Dave Walker -- President

Dave has been in the computer industry for 30 years where he has held key positions in executive management. He served as CEO of Storm Systems, a software company based in Pittsburgh that was acquired by Redleaf, Inc. in 2000.  Prior to Storm, Dave held various executive sales management positions with Sun Microsystems, including his most recent position as Sun’s Executive Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations for SunSoft, Inc., a Sun subsidiary. Dave holds a BS Degree in Math and Computer Science from SUNY at Albany, an MBA from Auburn University and an M.S. in Software Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology   

Ed Short -- CFO

A retired Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, Ed is a Certified Public Accountant with over 35 years of auditing experience. Ed has partnered a broad range of clients, from startup companies to Fortune 500 members. In addition, Ed is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Ed continues to serve as a consulting resource within the areas of technical accounting, auditing and SEC reporting issues. He is a member of the board of the Pittsford Federal Credit Union Audit Committee. Ed holds a B.S. in Accounting from Syracuse University.  

Vince Scarlata -- VP, Sales & Service

Vince heads Late Night Writer's sales and service divisions. He has an extensive background in both education and business. Having begun his career as an English teacher, Vince moved into management, starting up a customer services division for Data General Corporation. He has spent the last 25 years in various high-level sales management positions selling computer systems, software and services to worldwide markets. Vince has also spent time volunteering as development director and Board member for a non-profit, the Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center. Vince holds an M.Ed. in English Literature from Alabama A&M University, and an MBA from Clark University's School of Management.

Ray Holme -- Chief Information Officer

Ray is a specialist in computer technologies with an emphasis on databases and client/server systems. He has been responsible for the implementation of a large variety of distinctly different applications in projects ranging from real time scientific instrument control at the microsecond level, to large-scale business applications with dispersed data requirements, for such companies as Data General Corporation and Sun Microsystems. Ray holds a B.A. in Math from Columbia University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Columbia School of Engineering.  

Fadi Cotran, Ph.D. -- Chief Technology Officer

Fadi has served in a variety of leadership positions in the high technology industry for over 28 years.  Most recently, he was Vice President of Worldwide Systems Engineering at SonicWALL, a leading provider of network security products. Previously, Fadi had a 13-year career at Sun Microsystems, culminating in the position of Senior Director of Worldwide Systems Engineering for Sun's software divisions, SunSoft and JavaSoft.  Fadi also held executive positions at various high technology companies including PowerTrol, Virage, and Apollo Computer.  Fadi holds a doctorate in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a B.S. in Engineering from the American University of Beirut.

Jill Daneu -- Director of Marketing

Jill is president of Daneu Communications, a B2B communications company specializing in marketing solutions for the high-tech, med-tech, educational, and industrial markets.  Jill has over 25 years’ experience in writing, editing, training, e-learning, and marketing management.  Prior to starting her own consulting business, Jill was the Director of Marketing Communications at AmeriData, a worldwide computer reseller.  She also held corporate marketing management positions at Pitney Bowes, MTS Systems, and Control Data.  Jill is Director of Marketing and Brand for the Twin Cities chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and holds a B.A. in English and Journalism from the University of Minnesota.  

Randeep Walia, Information Technology

Randeep is an experienced programmer, Web designer, and graphics artist. He is presently a TeamCenter programmer consultant and Web services developer at Goodrich, where he is responsible for customizations on both the Thin Client and Server side using Java, C, XML, and JSP. Randeep has also developed custom components including new processors and applet functionality. He has also served as an IT consultant for Boeing Satellite, Edward Life Sciences, UGS, and Entys. Randeep holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology.
